RSSMate is a reader of RSS, Atom and podcast channels (the last two are included although they have audio and video), that is principally oriented to new users who aren`t familiar with this type of application.



The program, while open, keeps running in the background in the system tray. When there is something new (a new piece of news comes to an RSS channel you have established).

When this happens, you can open the program and read the title of the news that has arrived. If you are interested, and want to read more, you can click on it and read it all on your web browser. This way you will always be kept up to date, without moving a finger. The news comes automatically to your desktop.
